All the peanut butter used for baking is harvested on the Island's giant peanut plantation. The nuts grow over 10 feet tall and as wide as an elephant. First the peanuts are roasted over hot coals. Once they've cooled down, the peanuts are rocketed into a giant bullís-eye by the sling shot team to break open their rock hard shells. The peanuts are pulled from the shell, rolled into a mashing pit, and stomped on by local elephant peanut farmers to crush them. The Island's roller coaster stops at the mashing pit, picks up the stomped on peanuts and delivers them to Dirk's Mixing area.
